The Parliamentary Budget Office (PBO) provides independent information, analysis, and advice on the national budget of the Republic of Somaliland to the Somaliland Parliament.

The Parliamentary Budget Office (PBO) provides independent and impartial information, analysis and advice to the House of Representatives of the Somaliland bicameral Parliament. The Parliamentary budget office will contribute the effectiveness and efficiency of the work of Somaliland House of Representatives since the national budget is one of the core functions of the House, Also, this office will assist the committee of Finance, Economy and commerce and other committees of the House as well as the leadership of the House including the office of General Secretary by providing detailed information and recommendation about the Budget, Finance and Economy of the country, moreover, the budget office of the Somaliland parliament will serve to the public by arranging budgetary hearing and creating environment where the members of the parliament and public have discussions and debates about the issues of the economy, finance and budget of the country
