Departments

The Finance and Administration Department is responsible for managing the budget, procurement, and financial services, ensuring they are transparent and efficient.

The department plays a vital role in keeping the public and media well-informed about Parliament’s activities, producing insightful publications, and organizing engaging educational programs that foster a deeper understanding of parliamentary processes.

The Hansard, Plenary, and Printing Department of the House of Representatives.

The Archives and Library Department manages and provides access to documents and information to support Parliament's work. It serves MPs, staff, and the public through organized library resources and digital platforms.

The Protocol and Security Department handles official events, visits, and meetings for parliamentary leaders.

Policy & Research Department is charged with the responsibility of handling all research matters.

The Parliamentary Budget Office (PBO) provides independent information, analysis, and advice on the national budget of the Republic of Somaliland to the Somaliland Parliament.

The Planning and International Coordination Department formulates development plans, manages international relations, coordinates donor support and oversees strategic plan implementation.

The Human Resource Management & Training Department, under Administrative Support Services, develops and implements HR policies, oversees staff recruitment, development, welfare, and workplace safety, and is led by the Director who reports to the General Secretary.

The department is responsible for coordinating HoR offices at both central and regional levels. It also supervises the secretaries who work with the HoR sub-committees.
