My political career as a representative in Somaliland's parliament, specifically in the House of Representatives, involves significant responsibilities and influence. I am elected from the most populated Marodijeeh region, with the capitol city of the ROSL in the region. and my first responsibility is to represent my constituencies and play a key role in shaping legislation, overseeing government activities, and addressing the needs of my communities. My House is the chamber of Somaliland's bicameral parliament. Understanding the Political System, joining a Political Party, building a Public Profile, Engaging in Local Governance and Navigating Electoral Processes.
Academic Qualifications
As my academic qualifications are outlined in the Representatives' Election Law and I have backgrounds in law, political science, public administration, and industrial/IT engineering to effectively engage in the legislative duties. Additionally, I have the ability to develop a Strategic Plan (2022-2026) with emphasizes to capacity-building and training to members, enhance their legislative role governance skills, policy-making, and leadership to strengthen their roles.
Professional Qualifications
My PQ is Political Science & Public Administration, Certified Public Manager (CPM), Enhancing leadership and administrative skills. and as I specialized in public administration and management, I have the Ability to make Policy Analysis & Governance, and as an Industrial & IT Engineering I am Professional Project Management (PMP): expert, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP): Essential for cybersecurity professionals.
